i only noticed cuz they sat at the red light and revved his engine the whole time. I was going to say it sounded like a really loud broken lawnmower but clearly its just a really loud broken mechanical dildo. don’t be a dick and rev for no reason.

It has a cage, so is entirely possible if they have a built motor, tiny battery, and an underdriven alternator and/or water pump.

Honestly I’ve done that but not on purpose. I gotta bring the RPM up fairly high(and my cars loud AF) in order to smoothly engage the clutch. Now if your about to pull into traffic and the view of traffic is blind your about to pull out and bringing up the RPM then you see a car and stop. Do that 2 or 3 times and you look like a complete tool.

Could’ve had a sticking throttle, vacuum leak, or some other mechanical malfunction to trigger the revving involuntarily. A friend of mine once had a shittacular Solara that with an idle surging issue that made it seem a lot like she was revving her engine at you.

I’ve also experienced vehicles with tuning issues where they wouldn’t stay running unless you kept your foot in it. Just playing devil’s advocate here, not everyone out there is a dick, and some of them may be pretty embarrassed about it.

while I agree with you, there were other things that have me leaning to him being dick, such as a full throttle pull from the green light, and coming through another 5 minutes later and doing the same thing.
